The Excellence Scholarship & Opportunity Programme (ESOP) supports excellent students wishing to pursue a Master’s degree at ETH with a scholarship, mentorship and a network of the ETH Foundation. This scholarship covers the full study and living expenses of international students during their Master’s degree course.
Scholarships can be obtained to study in the following areas:
- architecture and civil engineering
- engineering sciences
- management and social sciences
Scholarship:
The Excellence Scholarship/ESOP is awarded for the regular duration of the Master’s programme (three or four semesters). The amount of the scholarship is CHF 12,000 per semester. It covers living and study expenses as well as a tuition fee waiver.
Candidates must meet the following requirements:
- English is a necessary language
- a very good score in Bachelor’s degree programme
- reachability under the specified in your CV telephone number (the selection process includes a (Skype) interview in February
Application Process:
To be considered for the scholarship, you must apply for a Master’s degree programme at ETH Zurich. If you are applying for more than one master’s program, you must submit a separate application form for each degree program.
In addition to the documents for admission to the Master’s program, you will need to upload a preliminary proposal for your master thesis. The scholarship application form and supporting documents must be submitted online by December 15, 2021.
