ENTraNCE – Training for national judges offered by the Centre for a Digital Society

Venue: Florence, Italy (for residential training) and Luxembourg (for the final workshop at the Court of the European Union)

Date of the training:  January-February 2023: e-learning activities

22-24 February 2023: three-day residential training in Florence

26-28 September 2023: final workshop at the CJEU, Luxembourg (TBC)

October 2023: online follow-up activities

Format of the training: both offline and online form

ENTraNCE is a training, which is organized by the Centre for a Digital Society, for national judges from EU Member States interested in deepening their knowledge in EU competition law enforcement. The training is co-financed by the Directorate-General for the Competition of the European Commission. The training program will include residential training, interactive classes, online activities, coaching, final workshop.

The Requirements of the Program

  • Participants must have the nationality of one of the EU Member States (Denmark excluded)
  • Participants from Albania and Montenegro are also eligible to apply 

Target Audience

  • Administrative judges who have jurisdiction to review the decisions of the National Competition Authority
  • Civil and Commercial law judges who are involved in private enforcement cases of EU competition law
