The Center For American Studies would like to invite you to participate in an intense weekend course with U.S. native speakers and scholars (alumni of prestigious universities such as George Mason University and Chicago-Kent College of Law): “Legal English for Scholars Made Easy”.
The course is taught by English native speakers and legal scholars. It will be fun, friendly, and yet to the point. Moreover, you will have a chance to ask all of your burning questions in real time.
✔ You will master the use of Latin legal terminology in English writing
✔ You will develop a set of skills and techniques that will help you take your legal writing to the next level
✔ You will learn how to write grant applications
You may submit a draft of your piece of academic legal writing in English to be used for instructional purposes during the course. The instructor will work with your piece of writing and give feedback and suggestions in real time. Submitting your draft is not mandatory.
