The SI Scholarship for Global Professionals funded by the Swedish Ministry of Foreign Affairs aims to develop global leaders that will contribute to the United Nations 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development. Accordingly, the Swedish Institute is intended to attract top foreign students by granting scholarships for master’s degrees in Sweeden. This scholarship helps foreign students develop professionally and get a unique opportunity for continued networking and professional development within the Swedish community.
Duration of the SI Scholarship for Global Professionals:
- Maximum of one- or two-year master’s programs
Financial Coverage:
- Full tuition fee coverage
- A monthly payment of SEK 11,000 to cover the living expenses
- Insurance against illness and accident
- Travel grant
Candidates must meet the following requirements:
- Being a citizen of eligible countries for SI Scholarship
- Having a minimum of 3000 hours of demonstrated work experience
- Having leadership experience
- Applying to the eligible master’s programs (See the list of eligible master’s programmes)

- Letters of reference
- Valid and completed proof of work and leadership experience
- Copy of your valid passport/National ID card
- Motivation letter
Application Process:
- It is necessary first to apply for up to four eligible master’s programs at https://www.universityadmissions.se/intl/start by 16 January 2023 and get a personal application number for the SI Scholarship for Global Professionals.
- After completing the application to a master’s program, it is needed to apply for SI Scholarship for Global Professionals by submitting the required documents through the online application portal
