CJEU: Every person has the right to know to whom his or her personal data have been disclosed

A new dispute has been registered at the Court of Justice of the European Union.  A citizen of the Union accuses an Austrian postal company of violating GDPR regulations. The court recognized the violation and considered that every person has the right to know to whom his personal information is disclosed.

GDPR – General Data Protection Regulation – The General Data Protection Regulation is a law of the European Union that came into force in May 2018.  The main purpose of the law is to protect the personal data of EU citizens shared on the Internet.  GDPR requirements apply to all EU member states.
